A. Occupational Licenses Collected - Month of September. 1993 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously accepted <br />the following report from the Tax Collector: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Karl Zimmermann, Tax Collector <br />SUBJECT: Occupational Licenses <br />DATE: October 11, 1993 <br />Pursuant to Indian River County Ordinance No. 86-59, please <br />be informed that $76,031.86 was collected in occupational <br />license taxes during the month of September, representing the <br />issuance of 3,064 licenses. <br />B. Letter to Department of Environmental Protection <br />The Board reviewed the following memo from Commissioner Adams: <br />TO BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />FROM FRAN B. ADAMS, COUNTY COMMISSIONER <br />RE Letter to Department of Environmental Protection <br />Attached is a letter for the Chairman's signature designating <br />Atlantic Coastal Engineering, Inc. as agent for Indian River <br />County in the matter of application and permits for a PEP reef <br />off shore in Indian River County. <br />I respectfully request authorization for the Chairman to sign the <br />letter and forward same to Kirby Green. <br />Commissioner Adams advised that the correct name of the <br />engineering firm is American Coastal Engineering. <br />5 <br />A 9 199 800K 90 <br />oE 780 <br />
