Surplus Property Sale <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated October 26, 1993: <br />DATE: October 26, 1993 <br />TO: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />THRU: James E. "Sonny" Dean, Director <br />General Services <br />FROM: Fran Boynton Powell, Purchasing Manage <br />SUBJ: Surplus Sale <br />BACKGROUND INFORMATION: <br />The following equipment (attached sheet) has been declared <br />surplus to the needs of Indian River County. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />Staff recommends that authority be granted by the Board of <br />County Commissioners to declare the above surplus and <br />authorize its sale. <br />1. FUNDING: <br />The monies received from this sale will be returned to the <br />appropriate accounts. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />This will be placed on the Surplus Property Sale open to <br />the public as per State Statutes. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously approved <br />staff's recommendation that the property listed <br />below be declared surplus and sold at a surplus <br />property sale open to the public in accordance with <br />State Statutes. <br />12 <br />
