Alternative No. 2 <br />Do not accept the project. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />BOOK 90 PA'F-97 <br />Alternative No. 1 is recommended whereby the project is approved. <br />Funding to be from Traffic Impact Fee, District 9 - 101-159-541- <br />067.50. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously accepted <br />the right-of-way dedication and authorized final <br />payment of $18,289.11, as recommended by staff. <br />SOUTH BEACH RECREATION PATH <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated November 1, 1993: <br />TO: James Chandler <br />County Administrator <br />THROUGH: James W. Davis, P.E. <br />Public Works Director <br />FROM: Terry B. Thompson, P.E. <br />Capital Projects Manage <br />SUBJECT: South Beach Recreation Path <br />Final Assessment <br />DATE: November 1, 1993 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Costs associated with the construction of the South Beach Recreation Path <br />on the east side -of AlA from the south city limits of Vero Beach to the <br />south Moorings Line (Spyglass Lane) have been finalized. The final <br />assessment is as follows: <br />Preliminary Estimate <br />$306,965.00 <br />(2117 residential units) <br />$145 per residential unit <br />Final Cost <br />$186,900.62 <br />(2100 residential units) <br />$89 per residential unit <br />The final assessment roll has been prepared and has been delivered to the <br />Clerk to the Board. Assessments are to be paid in one installment. The <br />due date is ninety (90) days after approval of the final assessment roll. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Since the final assessment to the benefited property owners is less than <br />the preliminary assessment roll, the only alternative presented is to <br />approve the final assessment roll. <br />52 <br />
