G. Occupational License Taxes - Month of October <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously accepted <br />the following report from Tax Collector Karl <br />Zimmermann summarizing Occupational License Taxes <br />collected during the month of October 1993. <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Karl Zimmermann, Tax Collector <br />SUBJECT: Occupational Licenses <br />DATE: November 10, 1993 <br />Pursuant to Indian River County Ordinance No. 86-59, please be <br />informed that $22,776.68 was collected in occupational <br />license taxes during the month of October, representing the <br />issuance of 921 licenses. <br />The annual renewal period for occupational licenses was August <br />1 through September 30. To date 6,486 licenses have been <br />renewed and 1,311 have not yet responded for the 93-94 fiscal <br />year.. <br />H. Transfer of Chapter 24 Utilities (Old Code) to Chapter 201 (New <br />Code <br />The Board reviewed memo from Assistant County Attorney Terry <br />O'Brien dated November 3, 1993: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners ~ <br />FROM: Terrence P. O'Brien - Assistant County AttorneyC� <br />DATE: November 3, 1993 <br />RE: TRANSFER OF CHAPTER 24 UTILITIES (OLD CODE) TO <br />CHAPTER 201 (NEW CODE) <br />This is the next to last chapter remaining in the 1974 edition. The <br />attached ordinance transfers the remaining sections in Chapter 24 to <br />Chapter 201.
