The individuals <br />who go through the program and get back on their feet repay the <br />funds expended to put them through the program. Since inception of <br />the Drug Abuse Trust Fund, we have collected $41,577.76; $17,930 of <br />that was collected in fiscal year 1992-93. Director Baird stated <br />that it is difficult to predict when funds will be received, and by <br />ordinance the funds can be used only for drug treatment and <br />education programs. <br />Commissioner Macht pointed out that this is a one-time <br />request. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously approved <br />Budget Amendment 007: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Joseph A.
