CHAS <br />T <br />AND STAFFED MANAGER OF AS PROJECTS <br />BY: DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: FLORA LANE/62ND PLACE WATER SERVICE <br />RESOLUTION IV - FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. UW -92 -30 -DS <br />On February 2, 1993, the Board of County Commissioners approved <br />Resolution III, No. 93-24, for the preliminary assessment roll on the <br />above -referenced project. Construction of the project has been <br />completed. Customer connections have begun, and we request the Board <br />of County Commissioners' approval of the final assessment roll. (See <br />attached minutes and Resolution III). <br />ANALYSIS <br />The preliminary assessment was for a total estimated cost of <br />$41,959.89, which equated to ± $0.111842 per square foot of property <br />owned. The final assessment (see attached Resolution IV and the <br />accompanying assessment roll) is in the amount of $33,276.15, which <br />equates to a cost of $0.08869571823 per square foot of property. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve the adoption of Resolution IV. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 93-212, certifying "as -built" costs for <br />installation of water service to Flora Lane, etc. <br />98 <br />DEC - 71993 -BGQK 91 pAu, 201 <br />
