December 21, 1993 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, December 21, <br />1993, at 9:00 o'clock a.m. Present were John W. Tippin, Vice <br />Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Carolyn K. Eggert; and Kenneth R. Macht. <br />Chairman Richard N. Bird was absent due to a death in the family. <br />Also present were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles <br />P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />Vice Chairman Tippin called the meeting to order. <br />Rev. Pete LaBarre, Retired, gave the invocation, and Attorney <br />Vitunac led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Commissioner Eggert requested the additions of two items: <br />As Item 13-D-1, Elected Officials' Bonds <br />As Item 13-D-2, Request from Historical Society <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Chairman Bird being absent) added the above two <br />items to the Agenda. <br />PROCLAMATION <br />Vice Chairman Tippin read aloud the following Proclamation and <br />presented the accompanying plaque to Henk Toussaint: <br />BOOK 91 F,AUGF :311 <br />
