Tuesday, January 11, 1994 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, January 11, <br />1994, at 9:00 o'clock a.m. Present were John W. Tippin, Chairman; <br />Kenneth R. Macht, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Carolyn K. Eggert; <br />and Richard N. Bird. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Barbara <br />Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Adams led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Chairman Tippin requested the addition as Item 13-B of a <br />discussion regarding the Gifford Cemetery. <br />Commissioner Macht requested the addition as Item 13-C of a <br />request for a budget workshop to be held some time in February. <br />Commissioner Adams requested two additions: <br />As Item 13-D-1, a request from the Beach & Shore <br />Preservation Committee. <br />As Item 13-D-2, a resolution supporting Sebastian Inlet <br />extension. <br />Administrator Chandler requested the addition of a meeting of <br />the Solid Waste Disposal District to discuss the sale of the 1993- <br />94 orange grove crop. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously added the <br />above items to today's Agenda. <br />SECOND QUARTER SAFETY AWARD <br />�r <br />Chairman Tippin read aloud the following award and presented <br />it to Lori Kowalski with the Board's congratulations: <br />BOOK, 91 FAGS 44 <br />LJAN 111994 <br />
