Commissioner Bird asked if we contact the Fire Department in <br />these cases to see if they can use these structures for fire <br />fighting training, and Building Director Ester Rymer advised that <br />the Fire Department is contacted in all of these cases prior to <br />their coming before to the Board. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously <br />authorized the demolition of said property <br />as set out in the above staff recommendation. <br />3. 41st Street and 29th Avenue - Residential Structure <br />Parcel # 27-32-39-00006-0000-00008.2 <br />Owner: Theodist Streeter <br />a. Inspection by Building Department <br />b. Certified Notice to owner, receipt dated 11/4/93 <br />C. Posted property with condemnation cards. <br />d. Photographs on file <br />e. Notice to Utilities Department to remove electrical service, drop, and <br />meter. <br />f. Notice to owner of January 11th Board of County Commission Meeting <br />and staff recommended action. <br />g. Research of records indicates there are no outstanding tax certificates. <br />Director Rymer advised that this property was purchased very <br />recently by a new owner, Mr. Streeter, who has applied for a <br />building permit to restore the structure. We are processing his <br />permit application today, but she would like the Board to take some <br />action today just in case his plans fall through and he fails to <br />bring the structure up to par within a reasonable period of time, <br />such as 60 days. <br />Chairman Tippin noted for the record that Mr. Streeter is not <br />in attendance today.
