ANALYSIS <br />All Indian River County Department requirements (Utilities, Public. - <br />Works, and Traffic). have been satisfied . The original contract <br />price was $1,049,277.00. The final contract price, including Change <br />Order No. 1, is $1,081,845.82, which amounts to an increase of <br />$32,568.82. This final price is much less than the approved <br />budgeted amount for the project of $1,491,926.66. The change order <br />consists of adjustments made during construction; such as, extra <br />length of a jack and bore at State Road 60 and 58th Avenue required <br />due to the widening of both roads, a modification in construction to <br />accommodate a conflict with a sewage force main and gas main, and an <br />extra retaining gland to comply with the latest Indian River County <br />Utility Standards. (See attached Change Order No. 1.) The <br />contractor previously had been paid $944,347.50, leaving a balance <br />of $137,498.32 to be paid. <br />RECO-10 NDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommend approval <br />of Change Order No. 1 and final pay request to Derrico Construction <br />Corporation in the amount of $137,498.32 as payment in full for <br />services rendered. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously approved <br />Change Order No. 1 and final pay request to Derrico <br />Construction Corp. in the amount of $137,498.32, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />1993 OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE TAS AMENDMENTS <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 12/27/93: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Terrence P.
