POSTPONEMENT OF DEBBIE HOUSE TERMINATION APPEAL <br />Attorney Vitunac advised that Attorney Robert Stone has asked <br />for a postponement of the Debbie House termination appeal. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously cancelled <br />the appeal hearing scheduled for January 20, 1994, <br />and directed staff to negotiate a time and bring it <br />back to the Board for approval. <br />SITE PLAN ANALYSIS COMMITTEE <br />Chairman Tippin advised that a Commissioner is needed to serve <br />on the Site Plan Analysis Committee when the School Board develops <br />a new school site, and Commissioner Macht volunteered to serve. <br />STATE MANDATES - COUNTY'S REFUSAL TO PAY STATE AN ANNUAL <br />ADMINISTRATIVE FEE FOR PARRS <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 1/5/94: <br />OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET <br />TO: Kenneth R. Macht <br />County Commissioner <br />DATE: January 5, 1994 <br />f. SUBJECT: STATE MANDATES <br />FROM: Joseph A. Bair <br />OMB Director <br />The State of Florida has passed a new $300.00 annual administrative fee for existing leases, <br />sub -leases and management agreements on state owned land. Indian River will be charged <br />a total of $900.00 for the Wabasso, Treasures Shore Park and No. 11 Corp. property south <br />of Treasure Shore Park. This is alarming since Indian River County .contributed millions <br />of dollars with the state to purchase this land. Now we pay them an administrative fee when <br />we even maintain the property.
