JAN 181994 BOOK 91 F.AcF 559 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 94-18, certifying to the DCA under the <br />Community Contribution Tax Incentive Program that <br />the Habitat for Humanity project is consistent with <br />local plans and regulations. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94- 18 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, CERTIFYING TO THE STATE OF <br />FLORIDA, DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS, <br />UNDER THE COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTION TAX <br />INCENTIVE PROGRAM, THAT THE HABITAT FOR <br />HUMANITY PROJECT IS CONSISTENT WITH LOCAL <br />PLANS AND REGULATIONS. <br />WHEREAS, the State of Florida, Department of Community Affairs, <br />under the authority of Sections 220.183 and 624.5105, Florida Statutes, <br />offers certain tax incentives under the Community Contribution Tax Incentive <br />Program; and <br />WHEREAS, one of the requirements to be a recipient of these tax <br />incentives is that the sponsor obtain a resolution from the local government <br />stating that the project is consistent with local plans and regulations; and <br />WHEREAS, Habitat for Humanity has applied to Indian River County for <br />such a resolution and has presented its plans to the County; and <br />WHEREAS, the County finds that the plans are in fact consistent with <br />local plans and regulations; <br />30 <br />
