JAN <br />311994 <br />BOOK <br />91 u,UE <br />636 <br />It was <br />the consensus of the panel that the Children <br />Services <br />Advisory Committee should develop an agenda for future meetings and <br />present recommendations to Chairman Marine and Chairman Tippin and <br />the respective Boards. <br />Mr. Mayfield led discussion regarding the proposed legislation <br />and asked how citizens could show support. <br />State Attorney Bruce Colton suggested contacting their state <br />senator and state representative as well as the Governor, and refer <br />to the proposed legislation as the State Attorneys' and Sheriffs' <br />Associations' Juvenile Justice Legislation bill. <br />Commissioner Macht suggested a resolution by the Board of <br />County Commissioners in support of that proposed legislation, and <br />Chairman Tippin directed staff to include that item on the Board's <br />next agenda. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at <br />11:30 a.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />J. arton, Clerk <br />20 <br />V <br />Joh W.
