Gentile, C.E.T. <br />Civil Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Public Hearing for the Paving & Drainage Improvements to 33rd Street (Cherry <br />Lane) between 66th Avenue and 58th Avenue <br />DATE: January 20, 1994 <br />On January 11, 1994 the Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 94-12 providing <br />for certain paving and drainage improvements to 33rd Street (Cherry Lane) between 66th Avenue <br />and 58th Avenue and adopted another Resolution 94-13 setting the date and time for a Public <br />Hearing to discuss the advisability, cost and amount of the assessment against each property owner. <br />This hearing is scheduled for February 1, 1994.. <br />33rd Street (Cherry Lane) is a Public Works Department initiated public improvement assessment <br />along with a petition received from some of the property owners who live on 59th Avenue and who <br />travel 33rd Street, <br />On December 15, 1993, the Public Works Department staff met with the property owners to discuss <br />any questions relative to the paving of 33rd Street. All of the property owners in the benefited area <br />were notified of this informal meeting. <br />33rd Street (Cherry Lane) between 66th Avenue and 58th Avenue is classified as a collector road <br />and therefore the assessment is split 50176 to be paid by the property owners and 5070 to be paid by <br />the county. <br />It is recommended that motions be made to approve the assessment roll, and confirming resolution <br />with changes, if any, made after input at the February 1, 1994 Public Hearing. Revised confirming <br />resolution and assessment roll will be forwarded to Chairman of the Board for signature. The <br />Assessment Roll and assessment plat are on file vrith the Clerk 'to the Board of County <br />Commissioner's office. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. <br />17 <br />BOOK 91 PAGE 656 <br />
