Tuesday, February 8, 1994 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, February 8, <br />1994, at 9:00 a.m. Present were John W. Tippin, Chairman; Kenneth <br />R. Macht, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; and Carolyn K. Eggert. <br />Absent was Richard N. Bird, who was on vacation. Also present were <br />James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County <br />Attorney; and Diane Albin, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />County Attorney Charles Vitunac led the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Administrator Chandler requested the addition of Item 9.A., <br />Request from Phoenix Productions to hold a Medieval Faire at Hobart <br />Park. <br />Chairman Tippin requested the addition of Item 13.A.1., Public <br />Officials Conference Reminder; and 13.A.2., Demolition of Houses in <br />Gifford. <br />Commissioner Macht requested the addition of Item 13.B.1., <br />Courthouse Advisory Committee Matters; Item 13.B.2,., Comment on <br />Tourist Tax; and Item 13.B.3., Legislative Intent and Rule Making. <br />Administrator Chandler requested that Item 11.A.2., Wind Load <br />Requirements, be deferred for one week. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Bird being absent) added and deferred <br />the above items. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Commissioner Macht requested the removal of Item 7.F. for <br />discussion. <br />FEB - 8 1994 600K <br />
