JOHN TIPPIN, CHAIRMAN, BCC <br />FROM: ANN ROBINSON, SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS <br />RE: ITEM FOR CONSENT AGENDA, BCC -MEETING ON FEBRUARY 15, 1994 <br />We have been using the former youth center next to Vero Beach <br />Junior High School as a polling place for Precinct 27. Dr. <br />Gary Norris has notified us that it has been converted into <br />a computer lab and is not a suitable location for voting. <br />Mr. Herbert Nelson, Commander, Felix Poppell Post No. 39, <br />American Legion, gave us written approval today to use the <br />hall at 1535 Old Dixie Highway, Vero Beach, as a polling <br />place for Precinct 27. Copy attached. <br />New voter ID cards and a map showing the location of the poll <br />will be sent by first class mail to every registered voter in <br />Precinct 27 before the March 8 city election. <br />We have moved the polling place for Precinct 16 as approved <br />in December, 1993.
