Reports <br />The following reports were received and placed on file in the <br />office of the Clerk to the Board: <br />Facilities Report Updates for Delta Farms, Sebastian River, <br />Indian River Farms, Fellsmere, and Vero Lakes Water Control <br />Districts. <br />B. Proclamations <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted the <br />following Proclamation: <br />P R O C L A M A T I O N <br />DESIGNATING MARCH 13-19, 1994 <br />AS EMPLOY THE OLDER WORKER WEER <br />IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />WHEREAS, All Older Citizens deserve to have the opportunity <br />to work if they so desire; and <br />WHEREAS, All Older Citizens are entitled to remain in the <br />workplace and to be a contributing factor in mainstream America's <br />development along with other age'groups; and <br />WHEREAS, Green Thumb, Inc., the oldest Senior Community <br />Service Employment Program and AARP/SCSF,P are pledged to the <br />goals of training and job acquisition of Older Citizens; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has designated the week of <br />March 13-19, 1994 to encourage increased community involvement, <br />to focus attention on senior job seekers' concerns: ' <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that the week of <br />March 13-19, 1994 be designated as <br />"EMPLOY THE OLDER WORKER WEEK" <br />in Indian River County, and the Board urges the citizens of this <br />County to take part in observances and activities designed to <br />advance the cause of "Work for All" in the nationwide efforts of <br />attaining a healthy work force. <br />Adopted this 8 day of March, 1994. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />JOHN W.
