ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously appointed <br />George Gross as the representative from District 2 <br />to the Occupational License Equity Study Commission. <br />Chairman Tippin noted that the committee now has five members <br />and should proceed because they have three months to complete the <br />study and make recommendations to the Board. <br />Administrator Chandler stated that Assistant County Attorney <br />Terry O'Brien and OMB Director Joe Baird would be the primary staff <br />supporting the committee, with assistance from Tax Collector Karl <br />Zimmermann. <br />DISCUSSION REGARDING REFINANCING IMPACT FEES <br />The Board reviewed letter from Dixie A. He referred me to you, hence this letter. <br />My contract is presently financed at 12%. Being aware that <br />intrest rates have tumbled drastically from what they were <br />when my contract was financed has made me very desirous of <br />refinancing at your present rate of 8%. Therefore, I am <br />requesting that you review my records with this in mind. <br />During the next few weeks you may reach me at 704 389 8999 <br />or leave word at 407 569 4329.
