FaUE 62. <br />Reject the Fourth Amendment and renegotiate the amendment with the consultant. <br />Staff recommends Alternative No. 1 as a fair and equitable agreement. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Fourth Amendment to the Professional Engineering <br />Services Agreement for CR -512 Corridor Improvements <br />with Kimball and Associates, with no increase in <br />fee, as set out in staff's memorandum. <br />FOURTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br />IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />WATER SERVICE TO 11TH COURT SW <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated March 24, 1994, <br />with attached letter: <br />DATE: MARCH 24, 1994 <br />TO: JAMES E. OS R, P. . <br />AND STAFFED ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER <br />BY: DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: 11TH COURT, SW WATER SERVICE <br />BACKGROUND <br />A resident of 11th Court, SW has requested water service due to <br />"undrinkable water, which smells like rotten eggs" (copy of owner's <br />request attached). <br />ANALYSIS <br />Currently, a water main exists within several hundred feet of the <br />property referred to in the above paragraph. It is proposed that we <br />provide water service now under the labor contract and later tie <br />into the proposed Water Expansion Plan, Phase V. The estimated cost <br />is $5,000 labor and $4,010 materials. Payment will be made from the <br />impact fee fund. A temporary service agreement is being obtained <br />from the owner. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends approval of the water <br />line installation. <br />38 <br />
