Tuesday, April 5, 1994 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, April 5, 1994, <br />at 9:00 a.m. Present were John W. Tippin, Chairman; Kenneth R. <br />Macht, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Richard N. Bird; and Carolyn <br />K. Eggert. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Diane <br />Albin, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Rev. Richard Speck, Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, gave <br />the invocation, and Attorney Vitunac led the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Tippin requested the addition of Item 7.I., 1994-95 <br />Anti -Drug Abuse Grant Certificate of Participation. <br />Commissioner Eggert requested the addition of Item 13.E., <br />Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board membership <br />changes and appointment of alternates. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously added the <br />above items to the Agenda. <br />PROCLAMATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS <br />Chairman Tippin read aloud the following proclamation and <br />presented it to Shirley Tyler, chairman of Equal Opportunity <br />Housing for the Board of Realtors of Indian River County, who <br />thanked the Board for participating in efforts to achieve fair <br />BOOK ' FACE <br />APR - 5 1994 <br />
