Commissioner Eggert asked, and Public .Works Director Jim Davis <br />clarified that staff from the Public Works Department has been <br />coordinating these paving projects with the Utilities Department. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 94-54, providing for certain paving and <br />drainage improvements to 1st Place between 27th <br />Avenue and 32nd Avenue in Vero Beach Homesites <br />Subdivision, and Resolution 94-55, setting a time <br />and place of public hearing, as recommended by <br />staff. <br />Providing (First Reso.) 1/5/94(ENG)RESI.MAG\gfk <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94- 54 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR <br />CERTAIN PAVING AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS TO IST <br />PLACE BETWEEN 27TH AVENUE AND 32ND AVENUE IN VERO <br />BEACH HOMESITES SUBDIVISION, PROVIDING THE TOTAL <br />ESTIMATED COST, METHOD OF PAYMENT OF ASSESSMENTS, <br />NUMBER OF ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS, AND LEGAL <br />DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA SPECIFICALLY BENEFITED. <br />WHEREAS, the County Public Works Department has been <br />petitioned for Road Paving and Drainage Improvement -for 1st Place <br />between 27th Avenue and 32nd Avenue in Vero Beach Homesites <br />Subdivision. <br />WHEREAS, the construction of paving and drainage <br />improvements by special assessment funding is authorized by Chapter <br />206, Section 206.01 through 206.09, Indian River County Code; and <br />r 4 <br />cost estimates and preliminary assessment rolls`hilve'been completed <br />by the Public Works Department; and the total estimated cost of the <br />proposed paving and drainage improvements is SIXTY-EIGHT THOUSAND, <br />SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY DOLLARS and FIFTY-NINE CENTS ($68,760.59); and <br />WHEREAS, the special assessment provided hereunder shall, <br />for any given record owner of property within the area specially <br />benefited, be in an amount equal to that proportion of seventy-five <br />percent (75%) of the total cost of the project ($51,570.44) which <br />19 <br />800K 92 229* <br />
