DISCUSSION OF VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION
<br />Commissioner Macht announced that this week is Volunteer
<br />Appreciation Week, and he suggested that the Board formally show
<br />its appreciation of all the volunteers who work on committees and
<br />boards.
<br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by
<br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously authorized
<br />staff to place a display advertisement in the
<br />newspaper on an annual basis beginning this year,
<br />mentioning the volunteers who serve on our boards,
<br />in conjunction with Volunteer Appreciation Week.
<br />As a fitting completion of Volunteer Week;;
