Department of Environmental Protection <br />Division of Beach and Shores <br />3900 Commonwealth Boulevard <br />Tallahassee., FL 32303 <br />FAX: 407-778-9391 <br />Subject: Indian River County Erosion Control Program FY1995/96 <br />Dear Mr. Ryder: <br />The enclosed application is submitted for funding consideration <br />under the FY1995/96 State of Florida Beach Erosion Control Systems <br />Program. Indian River County and the Sebastian Inlet District <br />have combined their resources and are submitting a joint <br />application. Also, enclosed are resolutions by the Indian River <br />County Commission and the Sebastian Inlet Taxing District <br />Commission authorizing the application. <br />This application is a request for state assistance for the north <br />county erosion control project. The County and the District are <br />taking a regional approach to solving beach erosion problems. <br />Funding will be used to determine the best and most efficient <br />project for the north county area. In addition, the Sebastian <br />Inlet Taxing District has included a request.for funding of items <br />that extend beyond the north county limits. These items are <br />necessary for a regional approach. <br />In advance we thank you for your assistance in this project.
