Alternative #1 - take no action again and allow the state and the <br />electrical utilities to present something at the next legislative <br />session. <br />Alternative #2 - adopt the attached local ordinance which could be <br />repealed if the state ever does adopt sufficient protections at the <br />state level. <br />Requested Action: Request advice on "which alternative the Board <br />prefers. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously scheduled <br />a public hearing on May 24, 1994, to consider an <br />ordinance to amend Title III of the Code by adding <br />Section 303.28 relating to electrical transmission <br />line routes. <br />SCHEDULE PIIBLIC HEARING TO APPROVE COMPLIANCE AGREEMENT ON <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />Deputy County Attorney William G. Collins II advised the Board <br />that staff and the Florida Department of Community Affairs (FDCA) <br />have been trying to get our Comprehensive Plan in compliance. The <br />hangup has been the Coraci property in the north county. Recently, <br />the representatives of the Coraci interests, the FDCA and legal <br />staff have worked out a settlement agreement which would revise a <br />few of our policies. We must advertise for a public hearing to <br />approve the execution of the settlement agreement. About two <br />months after that we would present the Comprehensive Plan <br />amendments contained within the agreement for adoption. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously scheduled <br />a public hearing on June 14 to consider execution of <br />a settlement agreement with the Department of <br />Community Affairs regarding the Coraci Property. <br />SCHEDULE PIIBLIC HEARING REGARDING SALES TAB <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously scheduled <br />a public hearing on May 17, 1994 to discuss the <br />Sales Tax 5 -Year Plan. <br />MAY ® 3 �1994 <br />31 <br />Bou 92 FACE 358 <br />
