MAY 10 1994 nor 96 PA c, F .3 S4 <br />1994195 BUDGET WORKSHOP SCHEDULE <br />Following a brief discussion, the Board scheduled the 1994/95 <br />budget workshop for Wednesday, June 13, 1994, at 1:30 p.m. <br />OMB Director Joe Baird advised that the workshop on the <br />general budget may take longer than one day. <br />SCHEDULING OF PRELIMINARY BUDGET WORKSHOP FOR CONSTITUTIONAL <br />OFFICERS <br />Following a brief discussion, the Board scheduled a <br />preliminary budget workshop for the Constitutional officers on <br />Monday, May 16, 1994 at 9:00 a.m. The Sheriff's budget will be <br />heard after the budgets of the Clerk, Supervisor of Elections, <br />Property Appraiser, and Tax Collector. <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY ACQUISITION -- CR -510166TH AVENUE -- WHITFIELD PARCEL <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 5/3/94: <br />TO: James E. Chandler <br />County Administrator <br />THROUGH: James W. Davis, P.E.. <br />Public Works Direct <br />AND <br />Roger D. Cain, P.E.• <br />County Engineer <br />FROM: Donald G. Finney, SRA <br />County Right -of -Way Agent <br />SUBJECT: CR 510/66th Avenue Right -of -Way Acquisition; Rosella J. <br />Whitfield Parcel <br />DATE: May 3, 1994 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Indian River County is planning to widen the intersection at <br />County Road 510 and 66th Avenue. This parcel is located on the <br />east side of 66th Avenue north of the corner at CR 510. <br />The owner has accepted the $14,554 appraised value for the grove <br />right-of-way parcel. The owner has agreed to and executed a <br />contract at $14,554 with an.Addendum. The Addendum addresses the <br />county removal of a barn and adding material for the relocated <br />trailer loading area. This is a feasible settlement. There are <br />no attorneys fees or other costs. <br />RECOMMENDATION _ <br />The county staff feels this is a reasonable settlement without <br />having to litigate and recommends approval. <br />FUNDING <br />County Road 510 Account No. 101-153-541-067.36 <br />14 <br />
