Tuesday, May 17, 1994 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, May 17, 1994, at <br />9:00 a.m. Present were John W. Tippin, Chairman; Kenneth R. Macht, <br />Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Richard N. Bird; and Carolyn K. <br />Eggert. Also present were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; <br />Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia Held; Deputy <br />Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend David Mulford, First Presbyterian Church, gave the <br />invocation, and Chairman Tippin led the Pledge of Allegiance to the <br />Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Tippin requested that Item 11.C.2., Surplus Real <br />Property be moved to 9.A.1., and that 9.A.1., Fourth (4th) Street <br />Murphy Act problems, be moved to 9.A.2. <br />Chairman Tippin requested withdrawal of 11.G.3., SR-AlA <br />Widening and Drainage Improvements. <br />Chairman Tippin requested addition of 11.A.2., Discussion <br />regarding larger meeting space for large crowds; 13.A.1., Report on <br />meeting with Indian River Farms Water Control District; and <br />13.A.2., Comment from Mr. Kroegel regarding a North County project; <br />Commissioner Macht requested addition of 13.B., Comment <br />regarding erroneous reporting of Land Acquisition Advisory <br />Committee action. <br />Administrator Chandler requested withdrawal of 14.B., Property <br />appraisals for property adjacent to the Landfill and cancellation <br />of Solid Waste Disposal District Meeting. <br />Commissioner Adams requested addition of 7.J., Permission for <br />Commissioner Adams to travel to Tallahassee. <br />t�UU� PA. r406 <br />
