Commissioner Eggert understood that these additional <br />restrictions won't interfere with the ability to charge for parking <br />in the future, and Assistant County Attorney Terry O'Brien advised <br />that this probably is the first step to be able to do that. <br />The Chairman opened the Public Hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, he closed the <br />Public Hearing.. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 94-17, amending Sections 307.04 and 307.08 <br />of the County Code to place additional restridtions <br />on county parking facilities. <br />ORDINANCE 94- 17 <br />_ AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 307.04 AND 307.06 OF THE <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY CODE TO PLACE <br />ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS ON COUNTY PARKING <br />FACILITIES. <br />WHEREAS, the County has limited regulations with respect to the <br />use of county owned or leased parking areas; and <br />WHEREAS, the need for additional and specific regulations is <br />necessary due to recent construction, in particular, the new courthouse <br />parking garage, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, that: <br />SECTION 1. - AMENDMENT. <br />Sections 307.04 and 307.06 of the Code of Ordinances of Indian <br />River County is amended to read as set forth in Appendix "A" to this <br />ordinance. <br />SECTION 2.
