SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNCIL OF IRC - ANNUAL AUDIT - BUDGET <br />AMENDMENT 017 <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 5/23/94: <br />TO: Members of the Board f <br />of County Commissioners E <br />DATE: May 23, 1994 <br />SUBJECT: SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNCIL OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />ANNUAL AUDIT - BUDGET AMENDMENT 017 <br />EMERGENCY AGENDA ITEM <br />FROM: Joseph A. Bair <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The Substance Abuse Council of Indian River County is required to have an annual audit <br />pursuant to the Federal Anti -Drug Abuse grant. They do not have sufficient funds to have <br />the 1992/93 audit done. <br />Staff is recommending we allocate $3,000 toward the Substance Abuse Council of Indian <br />River County to have an ` fiudit done so we can continue to receive funds of <br />approximately $130,000 from ,the Federal Anti -Drug Abuse grant. <br />RECOMMENDATION 3 <br />o <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve a budget <br />amendment in the amount of $3,000 from General Fund Contingency to the Substance <br />Abuse Council. <br />OMB Director Joe Baird didn't anticipate the same problem for <br />next year due to the new management in the Substance Abuse Council. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously approved <br />Budget Amendment 017, allocating $3,000 toward the <br />Substance Abuse Council annual audit, as recommended <br />by OMB Director Baird. <br />MAY 2 4 1994 87 �oBoa9 2 PnE 532 <br />
