DRAFT <br />Tuesday, June 7, 1994 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, June 7, 1994, at <br />9:00 a.m. Present were John W. Tippin, Chairman; Kenneth R. Macht, <br />Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Richard N. Bird; and Carolyn K. <br />Eggert. Also present were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; <br />Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; Patricia Ridgely and Barbara <br />Bonnah, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Rev. Richard Speck delivered the invocation, and County <br />Administrator Chandler led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Commissioner Adams requested the addition of item 7-M to the <br />Consent Agenda, approval of a grant application to preserve and <br />restore Kroegel Homestead. <br />Commissioner Bird requested item be added to amend the lease <br />of Air Masters R/C Club at the County Fairgrounds. (13-D) <br />Chairman Tippin requested item be added concerning county's <br />name or "Sunshine State" on license plates. (13-A-3) <br />County Administrator Chandler advised that the applicant had <br />requested the removal of item 9-B-1. He also requested addition of <br />a rescheduling of the public hearing re Publix in the Moorings. <br />(11-A) <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously removed <br />and added the above items to the Agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or corrections <br />to the Minutes of the Special Meeting of May 3, 1994. There were <br />none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board approved the <br />Minutes of the Special Meeting of May 3, 1994, <br />as written. <br />BOOK <br />�e� <br />a <br />.9 <br />
