Dune Sunflower SOURCE OF FUNDS: Grant in the amount of $21,450.00 from the 1993 Small Business Adminstration Tree Planting Program and Parks Construction in Progress funds. BUDGETED AMOUNT: $25,000.00 RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends that the bid7-be awarded to Natureland as the lowest, most responsive and responsible bidder meeting specifications as set forth in the Invitation to Bid. The base bid of $12,178.00 is below the project budget, therefore, Public Works recommends that -the additive bid items, A, B, and C in the amount of $2,899.78 be added to the base bid for a total project cost of $15,037.78. In addition, staff requests Board approval of the attached Agreement as to form, when all requirements are met and approved by the County Attorney. ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously awarded Bid #4080 to Natureland for landscaping at Round Island Park as set out in staff's memorandum.
