A public hearing on the <br />proposed compliance agreement will be held on Tuesday, June 14, <br />1994 it 9:05 a.m. in the County Commission Chambers at 1840 25th <br />Street, Vero Beach, Florida. <br />The proposed compliance agreement revises the following <br />Comprehensive Plan Policies relating to the development of xeric scrub <br />communities on the west bank of the St. Sebastian River: Future land <br />Use Element Policy 1.5; Future land Use Element Policy 1.31; Sanitary <br />Sewer Sub -Element Policy 6.1; the Data and Analysis Section of the <br />Conservation Element of the Comprehensive Plan; Conservation Element <br />Policy 6.16. <br />The revised policies involve the clustering of development to preserve <br />the xeric scrub community as an intact habitat; protection of the St. <br />Sebastian Watershed from pollution through the provision of <br />appropriate sanitary sewage treatment and disposal systems; and <br />certain development and environmental study criteria necessary to <br />protect the xeric scrub habitat as a part of any development proposal. <br />Anyone who may wish to appeal any decision which may be made at <br />this hearing will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the <br />proceedings is made, which includes testimony and evidence upon <br />which the appeal is based. <br />Anyone who needs a special accommodation for this hearing must <br />contact the county's Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) coordinator <br />at 567-8000, extension 223 at least 48 hours in advance of the <br />hearing. <br />�; iii �d7>ilJ I{'`;;;'� <br />P.O.
