Resolution Accepting Dedication of Right -Of -Way and to Cancel <br />Taxes on Same (Von Stein and Mufson) <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated June 10, 1994: <br />r0: The Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: WC. William G. Collins II - Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: June 10, 1994 <br />SUBJECT: A Resolution to Accept Dedication of Right -Of -Way and to <br />Cancel Taxes on Same <br />A resolution has been prepared for the purpose of accepting a right-of-way <br />dedication and cancelling any delinquent or current taxes which may exist on <br />the following property acquired by Indian River County for public purpose: <br />Right -of -Way acquired from Charles H. Von Stein and Lee T. Von <br />Stein, as to an undivided J interest and Sam Mufson, Trustee, as to an <br />undivided z interest dated January 19, 1994, which right-of-way is <br />fully described in that Warranty Deed recorded in Official Record Book <br />1004, Pages 2577-2579, Public Records of Indian River County, Florida. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorize the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the <br />Resolution accepting the dedication and cancelling certain taxes upon publicly <br />owned lands, and the Clerk to send a certified copy of same to the Tax <br />Collector so that any delinquent or current taxes can, be cancelled. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 94-82 accepting right-of-way'dedication <br />and cancelling certain taxes upon publicly owned <br />lands. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94- 82 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />DEDICATION AND CANCELLING CERTAIN TAXES <br />UPON PUBLICLY OWNED LANDS, PURSUANT TO <br />SECTION 196.281 FLORIDA STATUTES. <br />WHEREAS, section 196.28, Florida Statutes, allows the Board of <br />County C-ommissioners of each <br />County <br />to cancel and <br />discharge any <br />and <br />all <br />liens for taxes, delinquent or <br />current, <br />held or owned <br />by the county <br />or <br />the <br />10 <br />
