Resolution Cancelling Taxes on Dedicated 61st Street Right-Of- <br />Way (Boaziz). <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated June 10, 1994: <br />TO: The Board of County Commissioners - <br />FROM: L-<- William G. Collins II - Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: June 10, 1994 <br />SUBJECT: Cancellation of Taxes on Dedicated 61st Street Right -of -Way <br />By Resolution No. 94-42, the Board of County Commissioners accepted* the <br />dedication of a 30 -foot strip of road right-of-way for 61st Street lying west <br />of King's Highway from Mordechai Boaziz, as Trustee and Individual. Said <br />right-of-way is more f y described in that Quit -Claim Deed recorded in <br />Official Record Book 1011, Pages* 1336-1337, Public Records of Indian River <br />County, Florida. <br />Pursuant to F. S. 196.28, a resolution has now been prepared for the <br />purpose of cancelling any delinquent or current taxes which may exist on <br />the property. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorize the Chairman to execute the resolution cancelling taxes on the <br />road right-of-way pursuant to F.S. 196.28, and authorize the Clerk to send <br />a certified copy of same to the Tax Collector so that any delinquent or <br />current taxes can be cancelled. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 94-83 cancelling certain taxes upon <br />publicly owned lands. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94- 8 3 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, CANCELLING CERTAIN TAXES UPON <br />PUBLICLY OWNED LANDS, PURSUANT -TO SECTION <br />196.28, FLORIDA STATUTES. <br />WHEREAS, section 196.28, Florida Statutes, .allows the Board of <br />County Commissioners of each County to cancel and discharge any and all <br />Hens for taxes, delinquent or current, held or owned by the county or the <br />12 <br />
