Davis, P.E., _ <br />Public Works Directo <br />Donald MacDonald Park Boardwalk - Florida <br />Recreation Development Assistance Program <br />Grant Agreement <br />June 9; 1994 FILE: MM.A= <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The Public Works Department has received a $50,000 grant from the <br />Florida DEP for 100% funding of the construction of a boardwalk, <br />nature walk, pavilion, parking, and related improvements to Donald <br />MacDonald Park. The project agreements are attached for execution <br />by the Chairman. The project must be complete by April 1, 1996. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The Agreement requires the County to: <br />• Keep good financial records of the project. <br />• Submit project status reports quarterly. <br />• Be responsible for wrongful acts of employees, contractor, <br />etc. <br />• Allow DEP to inspect facilities. <br />• -Refund the grant if the -County is found to be -non-compliant <br />with this agreement. <br />• Place a sign on site recognizing state funding. <br />• Dedicate the land for public recreation for at least 25 years. <br />• Not exclude or discriminate against any person using the park <br />based on race, creed, color, etc. <br />34 <br />
