��l <br />Commissioner Macht remarked that this was a large change <br />order. <br />Utility Services Director Terry Pinto explained that field <br />conditions dictated the change. General Development system "as - <br />built" plans regarding the location of fiber optic lines was <br />inaccurate. He emphasized the critical need for accuracy in "as - <br />built" plans for facilities now under construction. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously <br />approved Change Order No. 1, in the amount of <br />$34,031.20; reimbursement to the traffic <br />engineering department in the amount of $1,200 <br />for repair of traffic sequence wire; and <br />purchase of additional ductile iron pipe in <br />the amount of $16,150, as recommended by <br />staff. <br />CHANGE ORDER IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />58TH AVENUE WATER MAIN PROTECT <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated June 20, 1994. <br />DATE: JUNE 20, 1994 <br />TO: JAMES E. Along with many other <br />inquiries for utility service in the 58th Avenue and Oslo Road area, <br />The Maitland Farms Preschool has requested water services from the <br />County to replace its water well.
