FRANCIS MANOR'S REQUEST FOR ADDITION OF LAND TO <br />EXISTING LEASE <br />The Board reviewed letter from Frank L. Just prior to your meeting it was discovered that the land <br />we are seeking was conveyed to the City of Vero Beach with the Jail <br />property a few years ago. <br />It was then suggested I make request to the City for this <br />land. During the past few months we have worked with the City. <br />Substantial study was made by City administration, and a new land <br />survey was done to clearly depict the area we desire. (Exhibit "A" <br />attached.) <br />The result of above was the City Council voted this evening to <br />a. Lease the land to the Manor subject to the removal of the County <br />reverter clause, /or/ b. convey the land back to the County <br />whereas the county would add this parcel to the Manor's existing <br />lease with I.R. County, which covers the existing project. <br />The reverter clause was touched on at your May 17th. 1994 <br />meeting and it was suggested I try to obtain the City's intent to <br />lease us the land before you release the reverter clause. <br />The City's indicated this evening was that b. above would be the <br />Preferred and easier process.
