Staff recommends that the bid be awarded to Southern <br />Culvert as the lowest, most responsible bidder <br />meeting specifications. <br />2. Establish an Open End Contract with Southern Culvert <br />with a not to exceed amount of $100,000.00 during the <br />period October 1, 1994 thru September 30, 1995. Last <br />year's expenditures were $95,470.26. <br />3. Authorize the Purchasing Manager to renew this contract <br />subject to satisfactory performance, zero cost <br />increase, vendor acceptance, and the determination that <br />renewal is in the best interest of the County. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />award of Bid #5006 to Southern Culvert in a not -to - <br />exceed amount of $100,000 for the period October 1, <br />1994 through September 30, 1995, as set out in <br />staff's recommendation. <br />K. Economic Development Council Vacancies <br />The Board reviewed Memorandum of September 19, 1994: <br />To: Board of County Commissioners <br />From: Carolyn K. Eggert, Commissioner <br />Re: Economic Development Council Date:_ September 19, 1994 <br />Dudley Gordon has left the community leaving a vacancy <br />in the Industrial Representative spot. I want to ask you to <br />approve --James Wellman of XL Vision, Inc. to replace <br />Gordon. <br />I would also like you to approve Michael Vanatta for <br />the At Large spot.
