September 20, 1994 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, September 20, <br />1994, at 9:00 a.m. Present were John W. Tippin, Chairman; Kenneth <br />R. Macht, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Richard N. Bird; and <br />Carolyn K. Eggert. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and P. J. <br />Jones, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Tippin called the meeting to order, and County <br />Attorney Charles Vitunac led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Chairman Tippin requested the addition to today's Agenda of <br />the following items: <br />1. Comments from David Nolte, Property Appraiser, <br />regarding Piper Aircraft's bankruptcy and back <br />taxes (8-A). <br />2. City of Vero Beach request for extension to <br />file for tax adjustment for airport taxes <br />(8-B) . <br />3. Memorandum from Senator William G. "Doc" Myers <br />regarding the Greenways Task Force Meeting <br />(13-A-1). <br />4. Announcement regarding Homeowners Association <br />Public Forums (13-A-2). <br />Commissioner Eggert requested the addition of a memorandum <br />concerning the Economic Development Council's addition of two <br />members (7K). <br />Commissioner Macht requested the addition of discussion <br />regarding the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's position on <br />Casinos (13-B). <br />Commissioner Adams requested <br />decision in favor of the Downdrift <br />Inlet (13-C) . <br />September 20, 1994 1 <br />the addition of the State's <br />Coalition against Sebastian <br />BOOK 93 PAU 492 <br />
