The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) has published "The <br />Question of Casinos in Florida - Increased Crime: 1s It Worth the Gamble?" This report studies the impact <br />casinos have had on crime in other states. As a result of this study, the FDLE has taken a position to oppose <br />any form of legalized casino gambling in Florida. For a copy of this free report contact the FDLE at 904/488- <br />8771. Counties that have taken a stand either for or against casinos are asked to contact FAC before Oct. 1. <br />The FAC Board of Directors may consider taking a position on this -issue in early October.
