D <br />JOHNSON-DAVIS INC. <br />"Construct with Confidence" <br />Culvert Replacement 74th Ave SW & 11t Street SW <br />A site visit was conducted on January 8, 2018, by the Johnson -Davis Inc. estimating team to evaluate: <br />• Actual field conditions of the area to be reconstructed <br />• Traffic impact and staging <br />• Canal flow rates <br />Our planned construction sequence would include the following: <br />• <br />Pothole to field verify all existing utilities for adherence to line and grade of proposed culvert. <br />• <br />Manufacture culvert to minimize the need for connecting bands. <br />• <br />. Monitor weather choosing a three week window with clear and dry weather forecast. <br />• <br />Install traffic control with advance warning for affected vehicular flow. <br />• <br />Mobilize site, and stage required equipment and materials in the right-of-way of 70 Ave South <br />of sub lateral C-2 canal. <br />• <br />Clear and grub as required. <br />• <br />install steel sheet pile as needed to control flow and contain embankment. <br />• <br />Install wellpoint dewatering system with necessary bypass pumps. <br />• <br />Install one piece culvert, backfill, and compact to proposed subgrade. <br />• <br />Install rubble rock revetment. <br />• <br />Construct surface restoration per plan. <br />If the project proceeds as planned, the area will experience construction disruption for a period of five <br />weeks. <br />We anticipated all work being performed during regular business hours. <br />Our management team will consist of: <br />• (1) Mainline crew <br />• (1) Support Crew Leader <br />• (1) Superintendent <br />• (1) Senior Superintendent <br />• (1) Project Manager <br />• (1) Construction Manager <br />Our team will be available 24 hours per day for the county personnel and local residents.
