Gray, Jr. <br />Natural Resources Manager <br />SUBJECT: FDEP Grant Agreement No. 171R2 <br />Wabasso Beach Restoration Project (Sector 3) - Post Construction <br />Monitoring (2018) <br />DATE: February 1, 2018 <br />L]�%IZl�ii[�I�_L`IZ�L�7►17II[�7�� <br />The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) received FY 2016/2017 funding to <br />assist eligible governmental entities for beach erosion control activities under the Florida Beach <br />Management Funding Assistance Program. FDEP has issued Agreement No. 171R2 to commit <br />state funds for the partial reimbursement of permit -required post construction monitoring on <br />the Sector 3 Beach and Dune Restoration Project. <br />The attached agreement commits up to $250,000 at a cost share ratio of 50% State - 50% Local. <br />The total local share under this agreement is $125,_000 with a maximum State reimbursement of <br />$125,000. The Agreement identifies Indian River County as the Local Sponsor, County Natural <br />Resources Manager, James Gray as the project manager, and has an, expiration date of April 30, <br />2021. <br />FUNDING <br />Local funding of Beach Restoration includes a portion of Local Option Tourist Tax Revenue as well <br />as allocation of the One Cent Sales Tax.
