Progress: <br />S Things Every Educator Should Know with Dr. Maryln Appelbaum was hosted on Saturday <br />November 12a'. 21 pre -post observations were completed from a random sampling of centers <br />where there were registered participants. 77% showed improvement. <br />Kindermusik: Supporting Infant & Toddler Development and Supporting Family Engagement <br />featuring Betsy Flanagan was hosted on Saturday January 7t'. Technical assistance was provided <br />by Shanti Sanchez five months post workshop. 73% showed improvement. <br />° o � DOVE ° MISSI <br />Where the Cross Makes the Difference <br />Children's Service Advisory Council <br />2016 — 2017 Grant Report <br />Grant Amount: $45,000 <br />Funds Used as of 09/30/17: $ 45,000 download <br />Total Children Served: 75 <br />Cost Per Child: $600.00 <br />Priority Need Areas Addressed: 1. Out of School Recreational Activities and <br />Enrichment Programs 2. Middle and High School Programs that Address Risky <br />Behavior <br />GOAL 1 To increase individual academic performance as measured by grade <br />reporting from each correlating school institution to a passing grade for the year, <br />including 100% Course Recovery completion for any failed courses. To have 90% <br />of active Crossover enrollees to become academically eligible to participate in <br />school sports the next school year. Baseline: Reported grades for 2015/2016 <br />School Year GPA Report available upon request. <br />Student GPAs: — For the School year ended 2016-17, 98% of active student participants <br />passed the grade. This includes any who needed summer Course Recovery. 86% <br />achieved a minimum of 2.0'GPA for eligibility for school sports. Now into the 2017-18 <br />school year, for the week ending 10/13/17, 52% of registrants are attending tutoring due <br />to one or more grades below a C. 85% of students have a 2.0 GPA or higher. 42% of <br />participants are on the AB Honor Roll! <br />-21- <br />34 <br />
