Result: <br />78% of students achieved this goal. The pre-test score was 33% - a gain of 136% was achieved. <br />Goal 3: 85% of students will score at least 80% or higher on the "Fox in the Box" letter naming <br />for upper and lower case letters. <br />Result: 74% of students achieved the goal of naming lower case letters. The pre-test score was <br />45% - an increase of 76%. 83% of students achieve the goal of naming upper case letters. The <br />pre-test score was 56% - an increase of 48%. <br />Additional Outcomes: <br />Displays courtesy and respect to adults: <br />Pre-test: 16% - Post-test: 85% - Growth: 431 % <br />Works and plays well with others: <br />Pre-test: 24% - Post-test: 84% - Growth: 250% <br />Follows directions the first time: <br />Pre-test: 46% - Post-test: 66% - Growth: 43% <br />Stays on Task: <br />Pre-test: 54% - Post Test: 62% - Growth: 15% <br />A note about tracking progress: <br />Presently, we continue to track the academic careers of the children who participated this past <br />summer using a new program called, iReady, and will continue to work with the SDRIC to <br />identify additional ways to progress monitor children who are part of this project <br />Program Implementation Progress: 199 children were served in 14 classrooms at 2 , <br />locations — Glendale Elementary and Pelican Island Elementary School. The program ran <br />from June 51 — July 14th. We served 22 more children than the previous year. <br />Kindergarten Round -up and Pre -K Party <br />We promoted this program at the February 25" Kindergarten Round -up and Pre -K Party that <br />takes place at the Indian River Mall. We registered over 65 children for the program. <br />Continued Promotion of Registration: <br />Radio and Digital Media Campaign: We promoted the program through a radio and digital <br />media campaign that ran from 4/17 until the first week the program started on June 5, 2017. <br />We received a match of 50-75% on each dollar from the various outlets. We also_took <br />advantage of being featured on radio shows for free (Marcia Littlejohn, Angelo and Brenda, Bob <br />Soos, Planet Vero Radio).
