AN AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />AND' <br />CITY OF VERO BEACH <br />RE: <br />UTILITY SERVICE AREA <br />THIS AGREEMENT made this 5th day of May <br />1987, by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, a political <br />subdivision of the State of Florida, 1840 25th Street, Vero <br />Beach, FL 32960 ("County") and CITY OF VERO BEACH, a <br />municipal corporation, whose address is Post Office Box <br />1389, Vero Beach, FL 32961 ("City"); <br />W I T N E S S E T H: <br />WHEREAS, the City and the County are in they process of <br />constructing precise boundary maps which will delineate the <br />respective water and sewer utility service territoriesof <br />the City and the County; <br />WHEREAS, until the engineering is done on the final <br />maps certain interim agreements need to be made so that <br />present construction will not be made redundant by the •final <br />delineation; and <br />WHEREAS, the County and City have determined that a <br />certain rectangular service area should• be trandferred from <br />County service area to City service <br />be done as soon as possible: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, FOR AND 1N CONSIDERATI <br />area, and this needs to <br />ON OF THE <br />PREMISES AND OTHER GOOD AND VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, THE <br />COUNTY AND THE CITY AGREE AS FOLLOWS: <br />That all that property contained within the rectangle <br />bounded on the west by the centerline of 27th Avenue, on the <br />south by the centerline of 12th Street, on the east by the <br />centerline of 20th Avenue, and on the nodth by the <br />centerline of 14th Street and what would be the continuation <br />of 14th Street shall be transferred from the County service <br />area to the City service area for the provision of water and <br />sewer. <br />81 BOOK 68 FACE 398 <br />MAY 19 1987 <br />gri-11 / <br />5-5- S J <br />i <br />
