Tuesday, October 11, 1994 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, October 11, <br />1994, at 9:0-0 a.m. Present were John W. Tippin, Chairman; Kenneth <br />R. Macht, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Richard N. Bird; and <br />Carolyn K. -Eggert. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia <br />Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Bird led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA MI ERGENCY ITEMS <br />County Attorney Vitunac requested the addition of his -request - <br />to attend a PERC seminar in Tampa. (7.G.) <br />Chairman Tippin requested the addition of a proposed letter to <br />Dannie Decker concerning an animal control matter. (13.A.) <br />Commissioner Adams requested time concerning Piper. (13.C.2.) <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously <br />added the above items to the Agenda. <br />PROCLAMATION <br />The Chairman read aloud the following proclamation and <br />presented it to Ruth Comly, representing Deborah Heart and Lung <br />Center: <br />1 <br />October 11, 1994 BOOK W PAGE 467 <br />
