Exhibit 1— Scope of Work The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment for janitorial services within specifications, terms and conditions contained in this document. The successful bidder, as Contractor, shall furnish all manpower, vehicles, cleaning supplies, paper products, chemicals, trash. bags, etc.; to clean and maintain 9 beach Parks, 6 with restroom facilities and 3 without restroom facilities. It shall be the sole responsibility of the bidder to visit and inspect all locations prior to submission of bid. No variation of price or condition shall. be based on a claim of ignorance. Submission of a bid is evidence that the bidder has familiarized themselves with the nature and extent of work and any conditions that may, in any manner effect the work to be done. and the labor, materials and equipment required. It is the intention of the County to obtain the services as specified herein from a Contractor that will provide prompt and convenient service. The awarded Contractor must be capable to perform as required under the responsibilities as listed. Any failure of a successful bidder to comply with these conditions will be cause for termination should a successful bidder be unable to perform,on a timely basis. Prior to awarding this contract, the County may.require a test period to determine if,the Contractor can perform in accordance with the requirements of the contract to the County's satisfaction. Such a test period may extend up to 90 days and be conducted under all terms, conditions and specifications contained in this document. Additions may be made to this contract as required. Ambersands Beach Access Daily Janitorial and Maintenance Requirements • Open park by 7:30 AM • Empty trash barrels / place new trash bag in barrels • Pick-up any and all trash from parking areas • Check beach for trash and debris and remove as necessary • Pick-up any and all trash from Right -of -Way in front of park • Empty recycling containers and place new bag in container ---recycling is to be kept separate from daily trash and turned in at solid waste transfer stations • Annotate on work order any repairs needed and turn in to the Parks Division Golden Sands Beach Park Daily Janitorial and Maintenance Requirements • Open park by 7:30 AM • Empty trash barrels / place new trash bag in barrels • Pick-up any and all trash from parking areas • Check beach for trash and debris and remove as necessary • Remove any sand accumulated from boardwalk and blow loose sand from boardwalk and sidewalks • Pick-up any and all trash from Right -of -Way in front of park • Empty recycling containers and place new bag in container ---recycling is to be kept separate from daily trash and turned in at solid waste transfer stations • Clean restrooms only between sunrise and sunset • Clean restrooms --- clean and sanitize toilets, urinals and sinks and restock toilet tissue and paper towels -- -empty trash and sanitary napkin containers and place new liners in containers ---wipe down walls as necessary to remove dirt, handprints and graffiti ---clean chrome on faucets and polish if needed ---clean Page 11
