It is always a pleasure to have an opportunity to interact with my colleagues from FDOT. The Town recently completed the subject project with Mancil's Tractor Service. The general project scope could be described as a bicycle lane and sidewalk project, including, landscaping, lighting, pervious concrete sidewalks, and milling and resurfacing. For your information, the project was a federally funded, Local Agency Program (LAP) Project. The project was completed within the allowable contract time and within the original contract amount. The final estimate for the completed project was $2,954,249.01. During the project, all project issues, time extensions and contingency supplemental agreements were handled timely and professionally by Mancil's project staff. Sampling and testing of materials indicated compliance with the minimum requirements of the project specifications. In addition, Mancil's staff handled all federally funded project requirements in a timely and professional manner; including material certifications, EEO and payroll information. The completed project has been well received by residents and businesses along the corridor. If you have any questions or need additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
