Attachment 2 to this report provides a breakdown of estimated costs by project elements. <br />Funding <br />As presented to and authorized by the Board on April 4, 2017, the funding source for the County's match <br />for this FY 2018-19 cycle grant ($140,850) is to come from Optional Sales Tax proceeds that are budgeted <br />and available in the adopted 5 -year Capital Improvements Program. As indicated in the partnership <br />agreement with the IRLT, the IRLT has committed $100,000 towards costs of the overall project, including <br />design, engineering and permitting. <br />Regarding ongoing maintenance costs once the improvements are constructed, an estimate of $21,200 in <br />annual costs was provided to the Board at the April 4, 2017 meeting, with funding for such maintenance <br />costs to be accounted for in the Parks Division's future operating budgets. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the attached resolution (FIND grant <br />application "Attachment E-7" for FY 2018-19 cycle) for the Oyster Bar Marsh Trail Improvements project <br />described herein, and authorize the Board Chairman to sign the resolution on behalf of the County. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
