Mr. Stan Boling, Community. Development Director and Mr. John McCoy, <br />Chief of Current Development, answered questions from the commissioners <br />regarding storm water designs and tenant requirements for the proposed project. <br />Mr. Joseph Schulke of Schulke, Bittle & Stoddard, LLC, Representative for <br />the Applicant, clarified details of the project and proceeded to answer questions <br />from the commissioners. <br />ON MOTION BY Mr. Landers, SECONDED BY IVIS. <br />Waldrop, the members voted unanimously (5-0.) to <br />approve staff recommendations on this Quasi - <br />Judicial matter. <br />Public Hearing- <br />Chairman <br />earing <br />Chairman Polackwich read the following into the record: <br />A. HF Properties, LLC Request to Rezone +/- 11.96 acres from CL to CG. <br />Located south of 73rd Street, north of 71St Street, west of U.S. Highway <br />1, and east of Old Dixie Highway. (RZON-2004050052-81019). [Quasi - <br />Judicial] <br />Chairman Polackwich asked the Commissioners to reveal any ex -parte <br />communication with the applicant or any conflict that would not allow them to <br />make an unbiased decision. The members stated that they had not had any ex - <br />parte communication. <br />The secretary administered the testimonial oath to those present who <br />wished to speak at tonight's meeting on this matter. <br />Mr. William Schutt, Senior Economic Development Planner, reviewed <br />information regarding the rezoning request and gave a PowerPoint presentation, <br />copies of which are on file in the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) Office. <br />He recommended that the Commissioners recommend that the BCC approve the <br />rezoning request from CL to CG. <br />Mr. Stan Boling and Mr. William Schutt responded to inquiries from the <br />commissioners regarding the proposed rezoning request. <br />Mr. Wesley Mills of Mills, Short & Associates, Representative for the <br />Applicant, clarified details of the project and proceeded to answer questions from <br />the commissioners. <br />Attachment 4 <br />PZC/Unapproved 3 March 22, 2018 <br />F:\BCC\AII Committees\P&Z\2018—AGENDAS & MINUTES\PZC 032218.doc 236 <br />
