Area Final Wetland Restoration Design & Permitting <br />Recommendedactionr Staff recommends approval of Work Order No. 1 to Carter Associates, Inc. for final' <br />design, permitting and construction management services and requests the Board to <br />authorize the Chairman to execute Work Order No. 1 in the amount of $36,800. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />2018 WORK ORDER - CarterAssociatesl <br />Jones Pier Proposal 5-1-2018 CarterAssociates ExhibitA <br />Jones Pier Proposal 5-1-2018 CarterAssociates coverltr <br />RFP2018-01 Notice Attachmen to <br />Vice Chairman Solari pointed out that the Jones' Pier Project will utilize the <br />conservation area and include a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) remediation <br />aspect as part of the design. He also mentioned that the County's website now <br />features a video on Spoonbill Marsh, and outlined other Lagoon restoration projects <br />that are being done by the County. <br />Commissioner Zorc suggested that staff post a list of the County's Lagoon <br />initiatives over the past several years, so that the information can be easily <br />accessible and well publicized. <br />A motion was made by Vice Chairman Solari, seconded by Commissioner Flescher, <br />to approve staffs recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5- Chairman O'Bryan, Vice Chairman Solari, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner <br />Flescher, and Commissioner Zero <br />8.E. 18-1790 Work Order No. 2, MBV Engineering, Inc.. 43rd Avenue Sidewalk Airport <br />Drive to 41st Street (IRC -1503) <br />Recommendedaction: Staff recommendsapproval of Work Order No. 2 to MBV Engineering, Inc., <br />authorizing the professional services as outlined in the Scope of Services and <br />requests the Board authorize the Chairman to execute Work Order No. 2 on their <br />behalf for a lump sum amount of $22,460.00. <br />Indian River County Florida Page 3 <br />
